    • Key/scale of the song

    • Identify melody with unique color

    • Identify harmony with chord box information:

      • roman numeral

      • unique color for each chord quality (i.e. major, minor etc.)

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING LIMITATIONS:
SoulTheory is a standalone application.  It is not a VST plugin and it does not accept VST plugins for sound generation.  Sounds are generated using your own custom soundfont files.  The application analyzes theory based on .mid files (MIDI), it cannot listen to a song (.mp3) and derive the theory.
